Our North Oaks Middle School program began in the fall of 2009. As our Spicer Elementary students moved into middle school, we wanted to stay connected with them and retain the life-changing relationships that had been built, which is the primary reason we began this program.
Every week, mentors visit the school to each lunch with the children, talk, and play enrichment games with them. They discuss life and various struggles, and the students are encouraged and taught valuable life lessons by their loving mentors. Once a month, the middle school programs come together for a special activity.
